The crab legs and this piece of pottery have a similar feel to them with their colouring and textures, yet one is man made and the other natural. I like how the aging process and water gives the crackling to pottery. You portray it so beautifully.
Thank you. I thought about doing something a bit different with this one. Because it made me think of an ancient road map, I wanted to add directionals & labels depicting past events, but then I chickened out & left it conventional.
Yes, now I look at it I can see it resembles a map. Isn't it funny how ideas pop into your head as you are doing things. You must do it another time, it is an interesting idea. I will look forward to seeing it. milly
