lighters and tampons are 2 very beachy things... sad, but colorful (the lighters anyway) and you capture them so well!
Thanks! So far I have consciously avoided picking up or rendering in paint the varieties of tampons. Unless I get desperate for material it'll stay that way!
ha! and if you go to the 5th street park, there is a colorful assortment of condoms too.

These lighters are from an 80's concert, maybe Depeche Mode or one of those other bands. They floated ashore after the beach party everyone had to celebrate the awesome time that they had. Remember how everyone used to hold lighters up at concerts?
